Error: Unable to load datalist. Conversion failed when converting from a character string to uniqueidentifier when viewing a custom datalist in the Web Shell

When attempting to load user-defined datalist, users may receive an error:

Unable to load datalist. Conversion failed when converting from a character string to uniqueidentifier.

This only occurs in Web Shell.
Download and install the latest version and patch, if applicable.

Alternative solutions:

This occurs when the value for AutoDisplayFilters is set to true.  To resolve this, we can follow these steps:

1.  While logged into the smart client with admin rights, navigate to the tab that the datalist is being displayed on.
2.  Select Tools > Design Mode.
3.  Click properties on the datalist.
4.  Change the value for  ‘AutoDisplayFilters’  to false.
5.  Click Save.
6.  Navigate to the datalist in the Web Shell.

Another idea is to select a specific value for the filter field and then click F5 to refresh the website.
