All you actually need to do is paste the video URL into the content area. Please make sure the URL is on its own line and not clickable (hyperlinked). See the below post example:

Here is how you can add Post Thumbnails in WordPress:

Wasn’t that super easy?

Here are the providers that can use the above functionality:

  1. YouTube
  2. Vimeo
  3. DailyMotion
  5. Flickr (both videos and images)
  6. Viddler
  7. Hulu
  8. Qik
  9. Revision3
  10. Scribd
  11. Photobucket
  12. PollDaddy
  13. Google Video
  14. SmugMug
If you upload your videos or other media on one of these sites, then WordPress will automatically embed. Otherwise, you would have to post the embed code manually.

If you are sharing a link that is not your own, from a TV station for example, or it's not clear that the link is from a supported service, try adding the link directly as noted above and view on a live page/post to see if it embeds automatically. If it does not display, then post the embed code manually.

Note: Blackbaud-hosted WordPress sites do not support direct video streaming of video media added in the Media folder. Please use one of the above services if you wish to share a video playable on a site page/post.
