Error: An Error has occurred in the application. You can do one of the following: Click the Back" button on the browser window and once the page loads, click the "Refresh" button-when submitting requests through Netclassroom"

When logged into Netclassroom and submitting requests, some students may receive the following error message.

An error has occurred in the application.

You can do one of the following:
 

  • Click the "Back" button on the browser window and once the page loads, click the "Refresh" button.
  • Click the "Close" button to close the application.
  • Click the "Start Over" button to close your current session and login again.

User Name:  [NetclassroomUserName]
Error in:  /NetClassroom7/Forms/NCShellCompat.aspx
User authenticated=True

Once users log back into Netclassroom after submitting the requests and clicking to "Start Over", they receive the above error message each time "Enter Requests" is selected.

Error populates in Netclassroom when a student has submitted a duplicate course request.

To resolve the error for a specific student:
1. Go to Scheduling; Enter Course requests by student
2. Select the student receiving the error message
3. Delete the duplicate course request
4. Select Save and Close

Now the student will be able to login to Netclassroom and view course requests without receiving the error message.
