How does the confirmation process work when we send out a mass email from Constant Contact?

This is something only constant contact support can answer. They will be able to provide the best answer on the confirmation email process sent out from their software.

If we want to send a mass email before a previous email has been synchronized, what happens to the Opt Outs created in the first mass email?  Do these accounts receive the email anyway?

The synchronization between eTapestry  and Constant Contact occurs every Sunday night. If an email was sent out on Monday and a recipient opted out through Constant Contact that Opt out status is not updated until the following Sunday night. If an email was sent out from eTapestry before the synchronization on Sunday it is likely that recipient would receive the mass email since the opt out status has not been updated. They would receive the email until that opt out status has been synched.

I recently sent out a newsletter through Constant Contact (our account is synced with our eTapestry account) and I don't think the email reached everyone it was supposed to.

Constant Contact only saves open/click-through information for 90 days from the emails sent. Can this information be saved in eTapestry as well?

Constant Contact only saves an email campaign for 90 days so it is important to create journal entries within eTapestry to track emails that are sent from Constant Contact.  The journal entries created in eTapestry are accurate as far as which constituents have been sent which emails. The open/click-through information metrics can only be saved in Constant Contact.

Constant Contact account through eTapestry and process credit cards?

Constant Contact does not tie in with the processor within your database. An eCommerce or DIY page that allows donors to sign up and pay for event registration would have to be linked directly to the eTapestry database for credit card processing.
