WebShell Error: Conversion from string Date(1375048800000+0200)/" to type 'Date' is not valid"

In design mode when adding a default value expression within an add form for a field with today's date it throws an error:

Conversion from string "Date(1375048800000+0200)/" to type 'Date' is not valid

The expression used which works in Smart Client is:

[FieldID] = EXPECTEDDATE [Expressions] '= today()'
