Error: Value cannot be null. Parameter name: String. - when attempting to exclude a segment summary from marketing effort counts

Marketing plans allow users to set up segment summaries for potential planned efforts.  Once a marketing effort is created based on a marketing plan, these segment summaries appear on the Segments tab of the marketing effort as a way to break down and organize the segments that end up being included in the effort. 

Once a marketing effort has it's segments set up and the segment counts calculated, users can still choose to edit specific segments to exclude those segments from the effort, but still show the counts for the effort.  However, when this option is selected for efforts based on marketing plans with segment summaries, users may receive the error:

Value cannot be null.
Parameter name: String

Once this occurs, if users try to calculate segment counts again based on that change, the total quantity of records in the marketing effort will not calculate, and neither will the total counts for each segment summary section that had that option checked or is below that segment in the hierarchy, even though the counts for the individual segments still appear.

Download and install the latest patch, which contains all fixes from previous patches. If you are running an older version, download and install the latest version and then the patch.
