For removing the option in FAWeb:

1. In Administration > Setup System Security > Open the FAWeb group type Security Group
2. Under "System Components" highlight Registrar's Office
3. Under "Registrar's Office" on the right, highlight Records
4. Click Options on the gray bar to see the record types
5. Under Record types, highlight classes
6. Unmark all options for Notes (the ability to delete classes is directly linked to the ability to delete class notes)
7. Click Ok
8. Save and close the group

For removing the option in Registrar's Office:

1. In security, open the Standard group type that the teacher is in
2. Under "System Components" highlight Registrar's Office
3. Under "Registrar's Office" on the right, highlight Records
4. Click Options on the gray bar to see the record types
5. Under Record types, highlight classes
6. Unmark all options for Notes (the ability to delete classes is directly linked to the ability to delete class notes)
7. Click Ok
8. Save and close the group
