Batch number already in use error when processing donation transactions

When processing donations into a batch using the option of Create a new batch and use existing batch below for default fields and values we get the error Batch number already in use.
This is resolved in the latest version of NetCommunity. If this behavior is persistent, please confirm you’re on the latest version of NetCommunity.
