Within Blackbaud Sphere, an organization would like to limit the age of participants registering for the event. How can they go about this?
You can limit each registration type so that only applicants of a certain age will be able to use it.
To do this:
1. Go to Communities > Special Events > Friends Asking Friends > Kintera Thon and select your event's Website Info page 2. Click on Fee Structure 3. You can add the Age Limits either when creating a new registration type or editing an existing. These instructions presume you are editing. 4. Scroll to the list of registration types, identify the type you wish to edit, and click Edit 5. Scroll to the bottom of the popup window to Age Limit 6. Set the lower age limit in the first box and the upper in the second
Note: You do not need to fill both boxes. If there is only an upper or lower age boundary, you only need to fill the appropriate box.
7. Click Save 8. Go back to the Webinfo Checklist and click Publish This Event Now
You will need to make Age and Date of Birth fields available in your registration forms so that your participants will be able to use these registration types.
