Unable to add constituent name column on a query list

Query List (BB729409) allows users to select certain columns for display from the View menu or by right-clicking on the display grid and selecting Columns. When a user removes the Name (constituent name) column from display in one Query List, the user is unable to see it again despite selecting it to display.
Download and install the latest patch, which contains all fixes from previous patches. If you are running an older version, download and install the latest version and then the patch. 

Alternate Solution

Do not remove the Name column from display in The Raiser's Edge. If you desire to remove it, export the results and delete the column in Excel.


If Name is removed, use Primary Addressee as a Name Field. This field displays both individual and organization names.


Log into The Raiser's Edge as a different user to view the Name.


Create a new Raiser's Edge user (BB138504). Do not remove the Name column in Query List under the new user.
