Error: Cannot insert duplicate key row in object 'dbo.BATCHIGNOREDUPLICATE' with unique index 'UIX_BATCHIGNOREDUPLICATE_BATCHID_ROWID_CONSTITUENTID'. The duplicate key value is (GUID, <NULL>). The statement has been terminated - when validating a batch.

CRM users may receive this error when validating a Revenue Batch or a Constituent Update Batch if they choose to add records flagged as potential duplicates as new constituents.
Download and install the latest patch, which contains all fixes from previous patches. If you are running an older version, download and install the latest version and then the patch. 
Possible solutions:
  • This issue may be caused by caching. Clear your browser cache and local application cache per the instructions outlined in Knowledgebase solutions BB700274 and BB740031.
  • Users may not receive this error when working in Smart-Client. Use the Smart-Client/Click-Once application instead of WebShell.
