To include Flash on your site using the Luminate Online interface, follow these basic steps:
  1. Upload the Flash file (with a file name ending in .swf) into the document library.
  2. Create the HTML required to activate the Flash. Note that the HTML will require thorough knowledge of the Flash file in question. For this reason, Support may not be able to help you with creating it. The Flash designer should provide you with it.

It will look something like the following code:

<OBJECT classid="clsid:D27CDB6E-AE6D-11cf-96B8-444553540000"
codebase="http://your-site-domain.org/images/swflash.cab#version=6,0,40,0"
WIDTH="550" HEIGHT="400" id="myMovieName">
<PARAM NAME=movie VALUE="myFlashMovie.swf">
<PARAM NAME=quality VALUE=high>
<PARAM NAME=bgcolor VALUE=#FFFFFF>
<EMBED src="myFlashMovie.swf" quality=high bgcolor=#FFFFFF WIDTH="550" HEIGHT="400" NAME="myMovieName" ALIGN="" TYPE="application/x-shockwave-flash"
PLUGINSPAGE="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer">
</EMBED>
</OBJECT>

A more specific example for Luminate Online code:
In the following snippet XXX should be replaced by the actual docID and ZZZ should be set to the display width. Note that IE uses the param value for the file and the object attribute for width. FireFox relies on the attributes of the embed tag. So, there are two places to set width and two for docID.

<object classid="clsid:D27CDB6E-AE6D-11cf-96B8-444553540000"
codebase="http://download.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab#version=6,0,29,0"
width=ZZZ">
<param name="movie" value="DocServer?docID=XXX">
<embed src="DocServer?docID=XXX" quality="high"
pluginspage="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer"
type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="ZZZ">
</embed>
</object>
