The Membership Dues Revenue Report pulls in membership revenue based on the membership transaction date located on the membership record in the Recent Membership Transactions section.  The Total Revenue Report and the Membership Dues Statistics Comparison Report are based off of payment date, which can be different than the membership transaction date if the membership transaction date was edited.

To find memberships where the transaction date is different than the payment date, use the steps below:
  1. Go to Analysis > Query.  Add a new Memberships ad-hoc query.
  2. In the left-hand column, select and expand Membership Transaction.  Expand Revenue Application under this.  Click on Revenue Details under Revenue Application.
  3. In the middle pane, select Date and move this to "Results fields to display."
  4. In the left-hand column, select Membership Transaction.  In the middle pane, select Transaction Date and move this into "Include Records Where."
  5. In the Apply Criteria screen, set the filter to Not Equal To and mark the radio button for Output Field.  In the drop-down, select Membership Transaction\Revenue Application\Revenue Details\Date.
  6. In the left-hand column, select Membership Transaction.  In the middle pane, select Transaction Date and move this into "Results Fields to display."
  7. Save your query.
  8. Compare the results of the query to see any memberships that could cause a discrepancy between the two reports.
