Performance: Error: Timeout expired. The timeout period elapsed prior to the completion of the operation or the server is not responding - when running revenue queries

Users experience hanging and eventually timeout errors when running revenue queries.

In Smart Client, users receive error:
The section could not be loaded. The client timed out while waiting for the ad-hoc query to complete.

In Web Shell users receive the error:
Timeout expired. The timeout period elapsed prior to the completion of the operation or the server is not responding.
Download and install the latest patch, which contains all fixes from previous patches. If you are running an older version, download and install the latest version and then the patch.
