The error occurs when users are performign a large revenue import.  After the error occurs the users get the same error throughout CRM until the Application Pool is recycled.
Error: Unable to connect to database ‘EJDEVO’
The Error was: Timeout expired.
The timeout period elapsed prior to obtaining a connection from the pool. This may have occurred because all pooled connections were in use and max pool size was reached.
Download and install the latest patch, which contains all fixes from previous patches. If you are running an older version, download and install the latest version and then the patch.
