Error: The transaction amount must equal the stock's number of units multiplied by the median price per share - when adding a stock payment

When adding a stock payment, users can specify the number of units of stock, with up to three decimal places, and the median price of the stock, with up to four decimal places.  However, if the value of the number units multiplied by the median price does not equal the value of the payment, users will receive the error:

The transaction amount must equal the stock's number of units multiplied by the median price per share.

This is to be expected.  However, it is possible to insert the same stock payment into the backend SQL tables - REVENUE, REVENUEPAYMENTMETHOD, and STOCKDETAIL - without receiving any errors or seeing any check constraints.  This allows users to successfully insert revenue into the database, but then find that it is not editable in the front end due to the error message above.

Download and install the latest patch, which contains all fixes from previous patches. If you are running an older version, download and install the latest version and then the patch.
