In this example, we will be adding 2 payments to a pledge broken down into 2 segments of $50 each, for a total of $100 pledged:
  1. Click Accounts
  2. Click Find an Account
  3. Search for and click on the donor's account
  4. Click Journal
  5. Click Add
  6. Select Split Transaction
  7. Fill in the Received field with the total amount of both payments you are adding. In this example, it would be $100 Received since we are recording 2 payments of $50.
  8. Fill in the Number of Segments as 2, for the number of payments you are adding
  9. Click Add Segments
  10. Within the first segment, click on the paper clip icon next to the pledge you want to apply a payment to in the Pledge Information tab; this segment will now be listed as a Payment and the Received, Fund, Campaign, etc..fields will automatically update based on what was selected in the Pledge
  11. Within the second segment, click on the paper clip icon next to the other pledge you want to apply a payment to in the Pledge Information tab; this segment will now be listed as a Payments as well and the Received, Fund, Campaign, etc...fields will automatically update based on what was selected in the Pledge.
  12. Click Save And Go to Journal
