When processing credit cards through Batch, users encounter an issue where they receive a rejection code of "The CardToken specified no longer exists" for one or more gifts.
Credit card information is stored in Blackbaud Payment Service until they are 6 months past the expiration date and have not had a successful transaction in the last 6 months After that time has passed, BBPS purges the credit card information. This error message indicates that the credit card token once stored in BBPS is no longer available. Contact the donor to obtain the updated credit card information. Even if the card number is the same, re-type the credit card number into the record to update the token.
