Lapsed memberships show as Active

Memberships that are lapsed show as Active on constituent records.
To update your membership statuses follow the below instructions:
  1. Go to Administration, Global Changes, and click Add.
  2. In the Membership area, select Update membership status, and click OK.
  3. Give this instance of the process a name, choose which sites this applies to
  4. In the Selection field click the magnifying glass and in the seach window that appears click Add
  5. Define a query and this will create a selection of Membership Programs
  6. Save that query and then run the resulting process to update the status of any existing memberships.
