Redirected to login.aspx?bm=XXXXXXXXXX after Logging In

When loggging into NetCommunity through login.aspx, the user appears to not be logged in and is redirected to login.aspx?bm=XXXXXXXXXX.
You do not see a login failed message or an error, you are just continually redirected to the login screen.

Alternatively, you may have been able to log in, but after clicking on an item within the NetCommunity website, you're redirected to the /login.aspx.
There are a couple scenarios that may prompt this behavior.

Cache Related
Please try and Clear the browser cache for all time.

Network Related
This behavior occurs when the NetCommunity site is not Hosted by Blackbaud
Possible causes include, but are not limited to Load Balancer, proxy server or NetScaler stripping some of the cookies after logging in. As all cookies from NetCommunity are secure, this would indicate there is a network component altering or removing cookies from NetCommunity.
Please contact the appropriate software vendor or IT professional for assistance with this process or issue which is beyond Blackbaud's scope of support.

Steps to Duplicate

  1. Navigate to your site's URL, followed by /login.aspx, for example:
  2. Enter your username and password
    • Note: you are either logged in, but then immediately logged out or you are redirected to
