A donor with a recurring gift wants the gift's payment type to change from ACH to credit card or from credit card to ACH. Why isn't the change working when I try to process it?
Credit cards are never ever stored in Luminate. For recurring gifts, that means that what Luminate stores is a token that can be used to process future gifts through the payment gateway. ACH and credit cards are processed through different payment gateways. The token cannot be moved from one gateway to another. Thus the payment type cannot change gateways.
