This occurs if there are Gift Defaults set for the Membership Category.
To view these defaults We will want to do the following.

1. Log into The Raiser's Edge
2. If the user has the proper security rights go to Config.
3. Then select Membership Categories.
4. Open the desired Program/Category.
5. Go to Default Settings tab.
6. Look for the Gift Defaults and select the magnifying glass icon
7. This will pull up the Gift Defaults.
8. Review the Default information and update if needed.
