Verify File Type
  1. From Marketing and Communications, click Tribute Acknowledgements
  2. On the Letters tab, Word Template column, make sure the letter has .docx

Verify Merge Fields
  1. Using the Tribute Header File (You can get this from Marketing and Communications, click Tribute Acknowledgements, click Generate header file in the tasks menu), make sure that the merge fields in your letter match the fields in this file
  2. If the merge fields do not match, Start a Mail Merge in Microsoft Word
  3. Using the Mail Merge steps, insert the header file as the source document and replace the merge fields
  4. Save this document in Word
  5. From Marketing and Communications, click Tribute Acknowledgements, Letters tab
  6. Edit the existing letter, clear the file and choose the new file, click Save
  7. On the Acknowledgements tab, click the process 
  8. Click Clear Results
  9. Click Start Process
  10. Download letters
