If your RE database is hosted by Blackbaud, please see BB736063 for how to enable users to access the RE mobile app.

NOTE:
 The following steps should be taken on any server OR workstation that has an Internet connection 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and remains on at all times. For more information see BB734768.

  1. On the Raiser's Edge bar, click Web Services.
     
  2. Under Available Services, click Mobile Service for The Raiser's Edge.  The Mobile Service for The Raiser's Edge moves from Available Services to Installed Services
     
  3. Under Installed Services, click Mobile Service for The Raiser's Edge.  The Configuration Options screen appears
     
  4. Generate the System Key OR Install the service (depending on whether or not Blackbaud hosts your Raiser's Edge database):
     
    • If Blackbaud hosts your Raiser's Edge database:
      1. Click Generate Key to launch the Mobile Service Setup Wizard.
      2. Enter your Site ID and email address associated with your organization's Blackbaud Customer Account
      3. Click Finish

       
    • If your Raiser's Edge database is not hosted by Blackbaud:
      1. Click Install Service.  The Mobile Service Setup Wizard appears.
      2. Click the Open button to browse to a location in which to install the Mobile Service for The Raiser's Edge.  Click Next
      3. Enter your organization's Site ID and email address associated with your Blackbaud Customer Account.  Click Next
      4. Click Install.  The Mobile Service for The Raiser's Edge is installed to the location you specified
         
  5. After the installation completes, click OK.  You will be returned to the Configuration Options screen, where you can either Copy the System Key, or email it directly to users.  NOTE: Users will not be able to log into the mobile app without the System Key.
