Not all changes to a posted transaction will trigger a GL recalculation.

Changes that cause a GL recalculation:

1. Constituent,
2. Designation,
3. Revenue Category,
4. Payment method/ payment method subtypes,
5. Application
6. Amount,
7. Benefits,
8. Events, and
9. Membership Levels.

Items that do NOT cause a GL recalculation:

1. Appeal
2. Inbound channel

Items that technically do not cause a GL recalculation but can under certain circumstances:

1. Constituency - this field is not on the record to be adjusted. However, if you change constituents, it will recalculate the constituency if they have different one.
2. Event Category - this field is not on the record to be adjusted. However, if you edit the event, it will trigger a recalculation.
3. Fundraising purpose - this field is not on record to be adjusted. However, if you edit the designation, it will trigger a recalculation.
4. Purpose Category - this field is not on the record to be adjusted. However, if you edit the designation, it will trigger a recalculation.
