Recurring gift payments can be successfully generated and committed without error or exception even though a credit card number is not associated with the recurring gift record

When running a Credit Card Process to generate and authorize recurring gift payments, if a recurring gift record is set to be paid automatically by credit card but does not have a credit card number on the recurring gift record, the associated recurring gift payment may still be placed in the resulting batch and be eligible for committal.
We are currently evaluating this issue and will update this article when we have more information.
