This error message indicates that your Blackbaud Payment Service account is not successfully connected to Blackbaud Merchant Service through your BBMS Web Portal.  

Follow the steps below to connect these accounts:
  1. Log into BBMS at
  2. Click Account Management > General Settings
  3. From Account Configurations a prompt will appear about a change in the Blackbaud Payment Services (BBPS) credentials; click "here" in that message
  4. In the Password field, enter the new BBPS password
  5. Click Test updated credentials to ensure a successful connection
  6. If the connection is successful, click Save.  (If the connection is not successful, re-enter the BBPS password until your connection is confirmed)
  7. Return to Account Management > General settings
  8. From Account Configurations click the ellipses next to Blackbaud Merchant Services and select Edit
  9. Make no changes
  10. Click Save
Once the connection is successful, log into the MobilePay app.
