This error message indicates that your Blackbaud Payment Service account is not successfully connected to Blackbaud Merchant Service through your BBMS Web Portal.  

Follow the steps below to connect these accounts:
  1. Log into BBMS
  2. Click Account Management > General settings
  3. From Account Configurations a prompt will appear requesting the Blackbaud Payment Services (BBPS) credentials
  4. In the Password field, enter the new BBPS password
  5. Click Test updated credentials to ensure a successful connection
  6. If the connection is successful, click Save.  (If the connection is not successful, re-enter the BBPS password until your connection is confirmed)
  7. Return to Account Management > General settings
  8. From Account Configurations click the ellipses next to the Blackbaud Merchant Services account(s) > Edit
  9. Make no changes
  10. Click Save
Once the connection is successful, log into he MobilePay app.
MobilePay is synced to your Blackbaud Merchant Service account using a MobilePay Security Code. The Blackbaud Payment Service account must be connected for security purposes, as this is the component that will store and encrypt your cardholder’s credit card information.
