When attempting to add a new record a user may sometimes receive the following error: Undefined RE Error. Generally this error will pop up when selecting the option Selected record is NOT a duplicate during a duplicate check on save. The record will save after selecting OK to the error message.
Users have also noticed that after the new record has been saved there is no Constituent ID associated with the new record. The blank Constituent ID field can be found via Query and then a manual Constituent ID can be assigned.
Download and install the latest patch, which contains all fixes from previous patches. If you are running an older version, download and install the latest version and then the patch.
Work around: When prompted with the duplicate search after adding a new constituent, click “Save As New Record” instead of “Selected Record is Not A Duplicate.” This will save the constituent record as a new record and have a constituent ID.
