Unable to sort Relationships by Contact Type in The Raiser's Edge

When working in a constituent record on the relationship tab, sorting by the contact type will not display proper sorting when All relationship types are selected.

We have evaluated this issue as a bug and we have determined it will not be addressed in the program in its current state.  In this case, we believe the risks and challenges outweigh the potential benefit of resolving this issue. We strive to select the most impactful changes and issues to address with each release to accelerate the rate at which we deliver new features while sustaining the highest level of quality for our customers.
 
Alternative Solution:
  1. Select a subheading on Relationships tab (Individuals, Organizations)
  2. Click on the Contact type heading to sort ascending or descending

Steps to Duplicate

  1. Open an Organization Constituent record

  2. Select Relationships tab

  3. If necessary, add Contact Type column (Right-click, select Columns, select Contact Type)

  4. Click Contact Type column header to sort.  Does not sort.
