1. Go to Analysis > Information Library.  Click Add an ad-hoc query.
  2. Select source view of Revenue and click Ok.
  3. In the middle pane, select Transaction type.  Drag this to Include Records Where.  Set the criteria to equal to Payment.
  4. In the left pane, select Application Details.  In the middle, click on Application.  Set the criteria to equal to Donation.
  5. Click on the line of criteria Transaction type is equal to payment, then click on the left parenthesis button.
  6. Click on the line of criteria Revenue\Application Details\Application is equal to Donation.  Click on the right parenthesis button.
  7. On the left, click on Revenue.  In the middle, click on Transaction Type.  Drag this to Include Records Where.  Set the criteria to equal to Pledge.
  8. In the left pane, select Application Details.  In the middle, click on Type.  Set the criteria to equal to Gift.
  9. Click on the line of criteria Transaction type is equal to pledge, then click on the left parenthesis button.  Also, click on the OR button.
  10. Click on the line of criteria Revenue\Application Details\Application is equal to Donation.  Click on the right parenthesis button.
  11. Go to the Set Save Options tab.  Name the query.  Click Save.
