Error: Luminate Online responded with the following error: Request not allowed from source IP address 'XXXX' - when processing or merging constituents

When attempting to process constituents in the Luminate Online Plugin or to merge constituents in The Raiser's Edge the following error may occur:

Error: Luminate Online responded with the following error: Request not allowed from source IP address 'xxx'. Please contact your system administrator.

This error can occur when the IP address has not been added to the White List.

To resolve, login to Luminate Online:

  1. Navigate to Setup > Site Options
  2. Select the Open API Configuration tab
  3. Click Edit Server API Configuration
  4. Under Add a new IP Range, enter the IP address
  5. Click Add New IP Range to list
  6. Click Save
  7. Click Finish

Note: The username and password is also found on this screen. Make sure these credentials match what is displayed in the Options screen within the Luminate Online Plugin within The Raiser's Edge.
