This occurs because the Marital status field on any applicant record in The Education Edge doesn't exist. The marital status field must be enabled in configuration in The Education Edge.
  1. Log in to The Education Edge
  2. Choose the Admissions Office Module
  3. Click Configuration > Business Rules
  4. Click General
  5. Mark the checkbox for Display Marital Status and Maiden Name fields for Students and Applicants
  6. Process the form
