Error: The current user does not have rights to use this feature in the context of this specific record – when adding a new constituent in an Enhanced Revenue Batch

CRM users may receive the error message above when attempting to add a new constituent, and payment for that constituent, in an Enhanced Revenue Batch. This error message occurs when the constituent site security check feature is enabled in revenue batches. This error message will occur if site security is enforced on the system role(s) the user belongs to.
Download and install the latest patch which contains all fixes from previous patches. If you are running an older version, download and install the latest version and then the patch. 

Steps to Duplicate

  1. Go to Revenue > Batch Entry > Batch Templates
  2. Create a new Enhanced Revenue Batch Template with a single Site security
  3. Go to Administration > Security > System Roles
  4. Access the All Rights Role and go to the Users tab
  5. Add a new User record with the same Site Security as the Batch Template and All Records Constituent Security
  6. Go to Revenue > Batch Entry, create a new Enhanced Revenue Batch using the Batch Template created above
  7. Click the Magnifier glass icon in the Constituent field
  8. Click the Add button to create a new Constituent record
  9. Enter all required information, click Save
  10. Fill out any additional required fields in the batch and validate it
  11. Note the following exception is received: "The current user does not have rights to use this feature in the context of this specific record"
