The Invoice Aging report only shows the original posted balances of obligations. Therefore, if an obligation has been split or the amount of the obligation edited, the Invoice Aging report will not show the new balance, and does not necessarily show a true balance as of the report date.
Edited or split obligations will post the new amount to the General Ledger and all General Ledger reports will show the correct amounts for obligations. It is very possible for the Invoice Aging report to have different obligation amounts than the Ledger report, or other GL reports, and not balance.
