I need to get names and emails of people registered for a scheduled event

How can I find out the names of people who have purchased tickets to a program? Sometimes you want to email everyone coming to an event to remind them of the event or to tell them pertinent information about the event.  You can build a query to get the people that purchased tickets and their email addresses, or if it is a pre-registered program event, use the roster.
If it is a scheduled program event that does not require registration and you do not need emails:
  1. Go to Tickets > Program Search.  
  2. Search for and select the program.
  3. Go to the Event List tab and click on the event for which you want the list.
  4. Under Tasks, click on Scheduled Event Ticket Detail.
  5. Click on View Report.

If it is a scheduled program event that does not require registration and you need emails or if you need to export this information to Excel:
  1. Go to Analysis, Information Library.
  2. Add an ad-hoc query and select a source view of Constituents. Click Ok.
  3. In the left hand pane, expand Sales Order.
  4. Expand Sales Order Item, then expand Sales Order Item Ticket.
  5. Select Program Event.
  6. In the middle pane, select Name and move this into Include Records Where.
  7. In the apply criteria box, click Are you looking for an exact record? and search for your event.  Select your event and click OK.
  8. Note: If you are looking for all events within one program, expand Sales Order Item, then expand Sales Order Item Ticket, select Program record and move this to Include Records Where.  Search for the name of your program, and click OK.
  9. In the left hand pane, select Sales Order.  
  10. In the middle pane, select Refund status text and move this into Include Records Where.
  11. Select Equal to and type in Not refunded.
  12. Output any information you want to see, such as constituent last/organization/household name and first name.
  13. In the left pane, select Email Addresses.  In the middle pane, select Email address and move this into Results fields to display.
  14. Go to the Set Save Options tab and save your query.
If it is a scheduled program event that does require registration: 
  1. Go to Tickets > Program Search.  
  2. Search for and select the program.
  3. Go to the Event List tab and click on the event for which you want the list.
  4. Under Tasks, click on View Roster.
  5. Click on View Report.
