Error: One or more designation amounts is invalid - when entering split payments in batch

CRM users may receive ‘Error: One or more designation amounts is invalid” when entering a split payment in an Enhanced Revenue Batch.

Example: A donor submits a payment for $100, of which $50 is to be applied to an outstanding commitment, and the remainder entered as an additional donation.

Alternative Solutions:

1.       This issue only occurs when working in Smart Client. Consider using WebShell in lieu of Smart Client.
2.       Enter the commitment payment and additional donation as separate line items in batch.
3.       If your business policy permits, enter the payment via a one-off add payment form instead of using a batch.
