Facebook comments made on personal pages can only be hidden and reported. Facebook comments are specific to the Facebook account. Reporting comments to Facebook can have them removed, but that’s more likely up to Facebook’s initial discretion if they view the comment as abusive or as a sign of defamation.

1)The participant can contact the commentor, and request that they remove their comment.

2) The participant can acquire the commenter’s Facebook login to log into their Facebook account and remove the comment.

3) The participant can post new comments above current one. What this does is push that person's initial comment down from being the viewed when people first visit the personal page. If the participant or visitors want to see the initial comment, they would need to scroll or click a link that says, “View more comments” OR "Show more comments".
