Error: Data could not be saved. The record being updated has been changed by another user

Sometimes when trying to save changes to a record, such as a deposit, payment, or query, you will receive the message: Data could not be saved.  The record being updated has been changed by another user.  This means that two users are trying to edit and save the same record.

 
  1. Have one user close out of the record.
  2. Have the users refresh their browser.  
  3. Have one user then change and save the record.
