How can I add or remove someone from an interest via a link?

I am creating a link on an external site and I would like for any constituent that clicks on that link to be added to an interest. Is that possible?

The following arguments can be appended to a URL where 1000 is the interest's ID.

To add the Interest (specified by ID) to the logged in constituent's record:
&AddInterest=1000

To removes the Interest (specified by ID) to the logged in constituent's record:
&RemoveInterest=1000

For Example:
https://yourdomain.org/site/PageServer?pagename=testpage&AddInterest=1000
