1. Go to the constituent record in Luminate.
  2. Go to the "Interactions" tab.
  3. Under "Select the Interaction Types to display for this constituent" select "Contact Record Change" and click "Filter".
  4. To the right of "Date" in the date column click on the arrow that points down.  This will sort the data from the most recent to the oldest.
  5. Open each of the interactions until you find the one that caused the problem.
  6. Note the "Time" and "Context" in that interaction.
  7. Go back to the "Interactions" tab.
  8. Under "Select the Interaction Types to display for this constituent" click "Show All".
  9. To the right of "Date" in the date column click on the arrow that points down again.
  10. Use the time and context from step 6 to find what the constituent was doing at the time when the problem occurred.

Tips:
  • Hold down the "Ctrl" button on your keyboard and select interaction types that are very unlikely to be related.  The most commonly unnecessary interactions are the various Login interactions and Tell-a-Friend Sent interactions.
  • Recognize that interactions come in groups.  For instance, when someone registers for a TeamRaiser event there are often 3-5 interactions created at that time.  If the interactions are only minutes a part, it is usually safe to assume that the constituent basically took one action that created many interactions.
