Step 1: Verify the team name is not in use

  1. Navigate to Communities > Special Events > Friends Asking Friends > Kintera Thon 
  2. Hover over the event name and select Event Admin
  3. Click Manage Teams and Team Members
If the team name is confirmed to not be in use: 
  1. Navigate to Communties > Special Events > Friends Asking Friends > Kintera Thon
  2. Hover over the event name and select Bookkeeping
  3. Click Manage Initiative Records
  4. Search for the participant who wants to start a team and click Edit next to their name
  5. Select the Edit Registration Info tab
  6. Click Start a Team
  7. Enter any team name (we will edit this to the desired team name through Event Admin); Optional: enter a fundraising goal and recruitment goal
  8. Click Submit 
  9. Navigate back to the event name in the breadcrumb list
  10. Click Utlize Event Admin Tools 
  11. Click Manage Teams and Team Members
  12. Select the team name and click Edit Team 
  13. Edit the team name and click Save
  14. Return to Website Info and click Publish This Event Now
