Some instances where you might need to Mass Delete Accounts or Journal Entries are:
A User imported a file with incorrect information
You want to delete inactive Accounts that have not donated
You accidentally clicked Create Journal Entries for a Mass Email
eTapestry users do not have the ability to Mass Delete Accounts or Journal Entries within the database. This security feature ensures that someone does not accidentally delete large chunks of your database. We can delete accounts and journal entries individually, but not in mass.
If you have a large group of accounts or entries that need to be deleted, the eTapestry Data Service Team can mass delete the accounts for you. If you are interested in that option you will need to speak to your Account Executive about the cost and timeline of this service.
