Only occasionally, when the user inputs Credit Card details for a Payment in a Batch, when the Credit Card process runs it fails with the error: Could not save Blackbaud Payment Service results to the batch: 'Card number' is required.
In these cases, the user has input the Credit Card number when entering the Payment. There was no error message received on entry, validate or save of the Batch. Opening the Batch after the failure shows the Card Number has been masked as if Tokenised successfully (e.g., ************1234).
Download and install the latest patch, which contains all fixes from previous patches. If you are running an older version, download and install the latest version and then the patch.
As a work around you can enter and process the Payment from the "Add a payment" screen, located on the Constituent screen.
