I want to create a list of News articles, recipes, press releases, etc.
To create a page that will list a set of content types, you will want to do the following:
1. Create a new Web Page or edit an existing page 2. If using the WYSIWYG, click on the white page icon with the gear (Components), if using plain text select Components from the drop down 3. Choose "List" from the drop down and click OK 4. Choose a content type you want to list, i.e. Press Releases 5. Choose a Template 6. Use an existing filter or create a new one a. To create a new filter select "new: b. Select a content type "Press Releases" c. Select a date range if wanted d. Select "add folder" and point to which folder this filter should use to generate the list (this is a good way to have separated yearly releases i.e. 2009, 2010, 2011, etc) e. Click OK 7. Sort documents in desired order i.e. newest to oldest 8. Select how to to show per page 9. Click "advanced" for more options or click OK to save
