No results are returned when including the ‘Household Members\Is Primary Contact’ field in the filters of a Constituent Ad-hoc query

At times it may become necessary to pull a list of individual constituents who belong to households, and are marked as the primary contact for their household.  CRM users may notice that including the ‘Household Members\Is Primary Contact’ field in the parameters of a Constituent Ad-hoc query does not produce the expected results.
We are currently evaluating this issue and will update this article when we have more information.
Alternative Solution:
Create a Constituent (with household members information rolled up) Ad-hoc query to gather the information you’re after. Pull the query through a Constituent (with household members information rolled up) export definition. Use the additional filters available in the export definition to extract the primary contact for a household.
