Button options are available when you have embedded (added) at least one form to your website. There must be a live form for the button to link to, which helps ensure that your email recipients experience no broken links in your email and helps measure clicks for accurate metrics. The only forms that the button(s) will link to are live forms on your website.

In order for the available forms for the button(s) to become available.
  • Embed at least one donation form, the Donation button option will become available. You can select which live, published Donation form for the button to link.
  • Embed at least one event form, the Event button option will become available. You can select which live, published Event form for the button to link.
  • Embed at least one Membership form, the Membership button option will become available. You can select which live, published Membership form for the button to link.

NOTE: The Event and Membership form options require (1) the appropriate module in the Raiser's Edge (RE: Event and RE: Member respectively) and (2) adding those form options to your Online Express subscription.

In the email set-up, the options will appear on the left under the Content tab. Drag and drop to a content block on the right to add the button. For more information on creating emails, please refer to How to send an email in Online Express (includes video demos).
