1. Go to: Control > Import Center
  2. Click New Import
  3. For Category, choose: Constituents Profile (or the desired category setting)
  4. For Template, choose: Individual (or the desired template setting)
  5. You will be shown a Preview of the fields that will be available for mapping
  6. Click Next
  7. Click Browse and choose the .CSV file to upload from your computer
  8. Click Upload
  9. You will be show a Preview of the file you are uploading
  10. Click Next
  11. For Step 1, Select Identify Field, mark the radio button: Supporter ID (or the desired field you will use to match the records in the database)
  12. For Step 2
    1. Under Source File Fields, highlight the field you want mapped by clicking on it
    2. Under Sphere Database Fields, highlight the field you want it mapped to by clicking it.
    3. Click Add Mapping and the fields will show they have been linked under: Import Mapping
    4. Repeat steps "a-c"  until you have mapped all of the desired fields.
       *NOTE* YOU MUST MAP THE "IDENTIFY FIELD" USED IN Step 1 (Supporter Id) OR YOU WILL RECEIVE AN ERROR
  13. Click Next
  14. You should be able to leave the default options here as they are unless you want to include a default value or overwrite existing database fields with a blank space.
  15. Click Next
  16. Mark the radio button: Update existing Sphere Records
  17. Update the Source Data Validation if you like
  18. Click Next
  19. You will see a short Preview of the data that is to be updated
  20. Enter an Import Name, the description is optional
  21. Click Finish
  22. You will be taken back to the Import Center and the import you submitted will be in Pending status
  23. When the import finishes, the status will be listed as Completed
