The ‘Contact Information’ field in the ‘Social media accounts’ section on a constituent’s record pulls from the ‘User ID’ field that can be populated when adding a social media account. The value in the ‘Contact Information’ column then serves as a hyperlink to the URL/page that was entered. The problem is the ‘User ID’ field is not always auto-populated when a CRM user enters a URL for a social media account.
We are currently evaluating this issue and will update this article when we have more information.
1.Edit the form so that the User ID field is required. Data entry staff members would not be able to save the entry unless a value is entered in that field.
2.Use the icons at the top of the page (that appears in the constituent summary section) to open the social media pages.
