The ‘User ID’ field is not always auto-populated when a CRM user enters a URL for a social media account.

The ‘Contact Information’ field in the ‘Social media accounts’ section on a constituent’s record pulls from the ‘User ID’ field that can be populated when adding a social media account. The value in the ‘Contact Information’ column then serves as a hyperlink to the URL/page that was entered. The problem is the ‘User ID’ field is not always auto-populated when a CRM user enters a URL for a social media account.
We are currently evaluating this issue and will update this article when we have more information.
Alternative Solutions:
1.       Edit the form so that the User ID field is required. Data entry staff members would not be able to save the entry unless a value is entered in that field.
2.       Use the icons at the top of the page (that appears in the constituent summary section) to open the social media pages.
