1. Go to Analysis > Information Library.  Click Add an ad-hoc query.
  2. Select the source view of Constituents and click OK.
  3. In the left column, click on Name Formats.
  4. In the middle, click on type and move this to Include Records Where in the top right corner.
  5. Set the criteria to Equal to the name format type you want.
  6. In the middle, click on Name and move this to Results Fields to Display.

Note: This criteria is going to exclude constituents that do not have this name format type.  If you want to get all constituents with this name format type, but also include other constituents, use the criteria below: 
  1. Go to Analysis > Information Library.  Click Add an ad-hoc query.
  2. Select the source view of Constituents and click OK.
  3. In the left column, click on Name Formats.
  4. In the middle, click on type and move this to Include Records Where in the top right corner.
  5. Set the criteria to Equal to the name format type you want.
  6. In the middle, click on Name and move this to Results Fields to Display.
  7. In the middle, click on Primary Addressee and move this to Include Records Where.
  8. Set the criteria equal to Yes.
  9. In the Include Records Where, click on the line of criteria Name Formats\type is equal to X.  Click on the Add left parentheses button that looks like (+
  10. Then, click on the second line of criteria Name Formats\Primary Address is equal to Yes.  Click on the OR button, then click on Add Right parentheses button that looks like )+.
  11. Finally, on the left column of the query, click on Addressee and Salutation, then in the middle, click on Primary Addressee.
  12. Move this to Results Fields to Display.
  13. Go to the Set Save Options tab, name the query, and click Save.
