The record may have been corrupted or merged in The Raiser's Edge.  Complete the following steps to resolve the issue:
  1. Log into ResearchPoint. 
  2. Open the record that is getting the above error message.
  3. Click Unlink with RE
  4. Hover over the Lookup ID, click edit, and make a change to the Lookup ID (ie. add a '- 2' to the end).
  5. Click Home
  6. Search for The Raiser's Edge record.
  7. Click Add to RP and complete the steps to create a new instance of the record in ResearchPoint.
  8. Click Sync with RP
  9. If it syncs successfully, delete the old ResearchPoint record.
